Same thing, extends TextArea and allows you to specify a prompt to be displayed when the text area is empty.<\/p>\n<p>The changelog for FlexLib .2 release:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Added PromptingTextArea <\/li>\n<li>Added IconLoader\n<\/li>\n<li>Added case-insensitive option for Highlighter <\/li>\n<li>fixes for issues <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/flexlib\/issues\/detail?id=35\" rel=\"nofollow\">35<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/flexlib\/issues\/detail?id=45\" rel=\"nofollow\">45<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/flexlib\/issues\/detail?id=47\" rel=\"nofollow\">47<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/flexlib\/issues\/detail?id=50\" rel=\"nofollow\">50<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep <a href=\"http:\/\/code.google.com\/p\/flexlib\/issues\/list\">reporting bugs<\/a>! I do monitor the bug list and make fixes.<\/p>\n<p>Also of note is that this is the first &#8220;corporate&#8221; contribution (outside of Adobe). Tobias Patton developed the IconLoader while working for <a href=\"http:\/\/effectiveUI.com\">EffectiveUI<\/a>. We encourage companies to contribute components to FlexLib.
